We are funeral directors supporting people in Brighton, Hove and the surrounding areas. We’re willing to travel further when needed and have a national network of like-minded colleagues around the country.
We are open and friendly in our approach and offer information for free.
This site is a resource for anyone wondering what is involved in the planning of a funeral. If you are right in the middle of a stressful time, then just give us a call right away and we can set to helping you.
We have a beautiful recently renovated work space at Preston Park Train Station. Our building offers time and space for our clients who can even decide to hold small funeral services on site with us in our ceremony room.
We specialise in supporting you to create fitting tributes to mark a death. We can create bespoke funerals of all shapes and sizes. We cater sensitively for any budget. We are friendly and honest in our approach to funeral support.
When you break it down, conventionally there are two main aspects to a funeral:
the practical process of caring for the body
the accompanying ritual that allows those who have been left behind to get together and honour the person who has died.
We help you with either, or both, of these tasks.
Where the practical and ceremonial merge, profound meaning can be found.
The plan could take any shape you can imagine, and we will guide you through making arrangements: from a no fuss practical operation to a celebration of life in a special venue, or a conventional funeral in a traditional setting. We can help with mixed-religion, semi-religious, or non-religious funerals. If a cremation is to take place, at a later date you could choose to scatter the ashes somewhere of meaning, perhaps hire a boat from the marina to scatter at sea, or have the ashes turned into a firework to set off in front of an audience. Not even the sky is a limit.
We can help you to make the best of things and put together the perfect send-off both for the deceased, and for those who have been left behind.
