Our flexible services come in many shapes and sizes, these example funeral concepts give you a realistic idea of our prices. Choosing to work with us will always mean an exemplary level of care throughout the process. Whatever the circumstance, we will do all we can to ensure the experience is the best it possibly can be.
We can support you to explore many ways to personalise the funeral. From working out how to best represent your person – making them vivid on the day, to considering the needs of those attending any gathering.

An eco funeral at a local burial ground
At the crematorium
Cremation is currently our most common experience of death with almost 80% of people choosing this way.
In Brighton, we have the choice to two crematoria Woodvale and The Downs. There are other crematoria that might work for you, including the modern Wealden Crematorium in Heathfield.
You can choose to have a personalised celebrant-led ceremony in one of the chapels at Woodvale Crematorium. We can also support you by printing Orders of Service and arranging flowers for the coffin and the chapel space.
A modern funeral
We have peaceful, calm premises to offer our clients space and time. You might want to come and decorate the coffin here ahead of the funeral. You can even decide to hold a pre-funeral gathering with us. Our ‘chapel space’ can hold funeral services with up to 20 guests, allowing you the freedom not to rush.
This is a full service at our place with the option of coming back to us to collect the ashes. You might choose to come along and bear witness on the cremation day too.
We’re always supportive if you would like to take on elements of the event yourselves – perhaps you would like to bring your own flower arrangement, for example.
An eco funeral at a local burial ground
The only truly ecologically sound option for how to process your body when you die currently available in this country is natural burial.
Thankfully we have good options available to us with both Clayton Wood and Woodland Valley burial grounds within 15 minutes drive of our premises.
Clayton offers a beautiful non-denominational chapel space for ceremonies with a view of the South Downs as the backdrop. Woodland Valley is nestled near Woodingdean with sea views. This option allows a body to gently be returned to nature.
A no fuss direct cremation
We have always offered no fuss funeral options.
Direct cremations are certainly on the rise. We think it is worth considering those you’ll leave behind – though obviously not popular events, funerals serve a purpose and can even be a healing part of a healthy bereavement process.
Our no fuss local direct cremation is a little different from the average as it still comes with our high level of personal attention and care. We will guide you through the process in a helpful, friendly way. Your person will be cared for in Brighton and the arrangements will be made to your chosen timescale.
You might decide to complete the forms in our cosy office over a cuppa.
This is still a cost-effective option, and allows you to ‘do something with the ashes’ or hold a memorial in your own time.
